Dnevnik, Macedonia: Macedonians in Bulgaria, Greece subjected to constant pressure
Skopje. Representatives of the Macedonian political parties in Bulgaria and Greece complained during this year’s meeting of OSCE that they are subjected to constant pressure and harassment, the Macedonian daily Dnevnik reports. During the meeting, which was held in Poland, representatives of OMO Ilinden – PIRIN said that they were subjected to psychological harassment. The Chairman of the party clam that when they made a second attempt to register OMO Ilinden – PIRIN as a political party, all the 5,800 members were formally called to police. Representatives of the Rainbow party in Greece said that Greek nationalistic ideology of the governments in Athens refuses to recognize the existence of a separate ethnic identity and Macedonian language.
